Senior '14

Hello, fellow blog readers! It is currently 10:30 on the 19th of August, 2013. I am lounging comfortably in my bed, with a fan blowing nearby. I have had a lack of blog posts since the school year ended. Over the summer, I renovated my blog to make it a little less "I like to rant blah blah blah" and a little more "I'm just a teenage girl trying to get through life, look at me!" I decided tonight that I would write a blog post, considering the school year started almost five days ago, and I haven't said a word about it! So, here we go...*drum roll* I'm a senior. *insert tears*

The first day of school wasn't as emotion-packed as I figured it would be. I didn't take any 'last first day of school' photographs like some of the people in my class. I packed my bag the night before, and I went to school at the same time I do every morning. The first day was filled with nothing really, except a couple teachers gave take-home syllabuses to us that needed to be signed by a parent and returned. The next two days of school (last Friday, and today) were about the same also. Today, however, I received about three homework assignments and took lots of notes. Did I mention my schedule for the year?

1. Anatomy
2. Personal Finance
3. P.E./ Study Hall
4. Chemistry
5. U.L English Comp
6. Psychology
7. Chorus
8. Pre-Calc

It is quite the interesting schedule, and the fact that I'm taking two science classes doesn't help my case much. I'm not too keen when it comes to science...or math, for that matter. From here on out, I'm more looking forward to managing the volleyball team, attending football games, and enjoying my free time rather than learning more science than I can bare to remember.  But there are two things I'm dreading the most out of this entire school year:

Watching the band play first semester...and starting up rowdy crowd again in November.

Watching the band play is, of course, going to be painful due to the fact that there are less than 20 people taking it. (Mainly due to scheduling and the fact that people do not realize how much hard work you have to put into making a band sound well, rather than sitting around and expecting it to come to you).

Rowdy crowd, on the other hand, is going to be a hell of a ride, like always. People always disagree and fights get started. As much as I like heading this operation, sometimes it's just a little too much when people organize a game theme and then show up in regular attire, stating they didn't know what the theme was.

Well, I am going to hit the hay, so I shall leave it at that! Goodnight, and sweet dreams. P
